Dito: Free Health Checks – President’s Commitment to Youth

Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo recently visited SMK Negeri 26 in Rawamangun, East Jakarta to oversee the Free Health Check in Schools (CKG Sekolah) program. This initiative was launched simultaneously in 12 educational institutions across Indonesia, highlighting President Prabowo Subianto’s dedication to the health of youth. Minister Dito stressed that the program aligns with the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ goal of enhancing the physical fitness of Indonesians under the Asta Cita development framework. The CKG program aims to collect valuable data that can shape policies promoting healthy lifestyles among students. Accompanied by officials and notable athletes, Minister Dito witnessed 131 tenth-grade students undergoing health screenings on the first day at SMKN 26 Jakarta. The program includes various examinations such as height and weight measurements, nutritional assessments, blood pressure checks, dental and eye health screenings, and mental well-being assessments. The initiative not only focuses on health but also educates students on maintaining clean and healthy living habits. The nationwide launch of CKG Sekolah signifies a step towards a reformed national healthcare system, emphasizing preventive and promotive care. With over 16 million people benefiting from the program as of August 1, 2025, the government anticipates that CKG will enhance healthcare accessibility and contribute to the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
