Prabowo-Backed Local Small Businesses: Sumba Coffee & Kapuas Weaving

Small and medium-sized business owners in Tangerang were excited to welcome President Prabowo Subianto during his visit to the Apkasi Otonomi Expo 2025 at ICE BSD. Tresya Avilaemalo, representing a small enterprise from West Sumba, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to showcase her region’s products like coffee, tea, chocolate, and woven fabrics. She described the event as extraordinary and appreciated the President’s support, while also expressing hope for his future visit to West Sumba to boost local entrepreneurs and food security programs.
Ferdinan Endarto, a representative of small businesses from Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan, also shared his hopes for more promotional opportunities to expand local cultures and products. He emphasized the significance of initiatives that promote regional products and recognize each region’s unique community and specialties. Ferdinan voiced his support for President Prabowo’s Koperasi Merah Putih initiative, aiming to empower small enterprises and boost the economy by managing and assisting all small businesses in Kapuas Regency.
