Kondisi kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia masih menghadapi tantangan serius, terutama dalam prevalensi penyakit tidak menular seperti hipertensi, kolesterol, dan diabetes. Kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga kesehatan juga masih rendah. Hasil skrining gratis yang dilakukan PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) menunjukkan bahwa enam dari sepuluh peserta di delapan kota memiliki faktor risiko penyakit kronis yang tinggi. Data International Diabetes Foundation (IDF) 2024 mencatat bahwa prevalensi penderita diabetes di Indonesia mencapai 11,3 persen. Sementara data Kementerian Kesehatan RI menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi hipertensi dan kolesterol pada penduduk dewasa juga cukup tinggi.
Responding to this condition, GoApotik held a Fun Walk event in Car Free Day (CFD) area in Senayan, Jakarta, on Sunday, August 24, 2025. The 5-kilometer event was attended by the directors and commissioners of MDLA along with more than 150 employees.
