Prabowo Aims to Provide Free Nutritious Meals to 82.9 Million Children

President Prabowo Subianto has set a bold target to expand the Free Nutritious Meal Program (Makan Bergizi Gratis / MBG) to reach 82.9 million children nationwide by the end of 2025. This initiative has been declared a national priority and a matter of urgency. During the 27th anniversary of the National Awakening Party (PKB), President Prabowo shared a moving experience from his visit to Central Java, where the demand for the program was evident.

While traveling from Solo to Klaten, President Prabowo witnessed the overwhelming support for the program as schoolchildren, teachers, and locals lined the streets requesting nutritious meals. Touched by this encounter, he immediately instructed his team to accelerate the implementation of the program, aiming to reach 20 million children by mid-August.
