He categorized the issue as a major economic crime, highlighting the substantial annual losses to the state and consumers, estimated at IDR 100 trillion. Prabowo stressed that this is not just a market distortion but a significant threat to national welfare and stability. He urged the public to consider the potential impact of these massive losses on the nation’s development, emphasizing the need to eradicate poverty with the resources lost to fraudulent practices.
