Prabowo and MBS Expand Humanitarian Support for Gaza

During Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto’s state visit to Saudi Arabia, he met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud to discuss the humanitarian crisis in Gaza caused by the ongoing Israeli military offensive. Both countries expressed their deep concern and agreed to enhance coordination in providing emergency aid and broader humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.

The official joint statement released by the Saudi Press Agency highlighted the commitment of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia to continue offering humanitarian aid and support for recovery efforts in response to Israeli aggression. In addition to discussing the Gaza situation, both nations also underscored their mutual determination to deepen cooperation in ensuring international stability and security. They pledged to collaborate in promoting regional peace and strengthening global resilience.

The meeting, held at Al-Salam Palace, demonstrated the strong strategic ties between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, with President Prabowo and Crown Prince MBS engaging in discussions against the backdrop of their respective national flags. This commitment reflects Indonesia’s consistent foreign policy of supporting the Palestinian cause and engaging in humanitarian diplomacy on the global stage.
